ANNUAL running costs for second-hand cars are now higher than those for new vehicles.
Finance company statisticians reckon annual running costs now add up to pounds 2,338 - up from an estimated pounds 2, 277 last year and pounds 2,100 in 2007.
This programme better informs retail customers about used car running costs - we are urging all dealers to sign up to the scheme," said RMI director Sue Robinson.
