1) Bildhauer, who examined attitudes to menstruation in the medieval period and based her research largely on the pseudo-Albertus tract, De secreta mulierum, has similarly confirmed the existence of a negative medieval attitude to menstruation that saw the flux as unambiguously harmful.
She was inspired to write it after hearing the singing of the Sussexbased group Musica Secreta, who have researched the music of the nunnery, and its many parallels with the monastery.
In addition, Cava Secreta was recently selected as one of two specialty wine stores through an RFP process from Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming.
