The Racing Post did its bit in publicising the book for me through a number of serialisations, for which I was grateful, but I felt distinctly uneasy when I saw the headline on the front page that referred to the spat I had with Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival all those years ago.
This book will be that and the publishing deal alone will be huge, let alone the serialisations that will appear in newspapers.
The trouble is that these books are so remorselessly plugged in interviews and serialisations that we feel like we've read them already, and can guess anything we're not told.
