Washington's special Mideast envoy wrapped up his latest round of shuttle diplomacy in the region, again having failed to persuade the Israelis and Palestinians to resume peace talks.
US special presidential envoy George Mitchell has just ended his sixth shuttle diplomacy round between the Arabs and Israel without achieving any breakthrough.
Mitchell left after a two-hour meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, their second on Friday and fourth in a week of shuttle diplomacy by the former US senator.
