Silky oak, also known as silk oak, silver oak and lacewood, from Grevillea robusta, is a medium-height to tall tree, growing to 120 feet or more.
Kathy Cryer, North Hills A: This tree is known as silk oak (Grevillea robusta).
Among them are the pomegranate, octopus plant and silk oak for conservatory or house, Russian campion and yellow delphinium for warm borders, and purple bell vine from Mexico for summer patios.
