Byline: HELEN S AVAGE AFEW weeks ago I was sent three samples of the same wine from northern Italy: Monteforte 'Passo Avanti', Soave 2006.
The differences have been highlighted by a Soave producer in northern Italy who has bravely decided to use screw-caps, even though it means the wine will be 'declassified', or downgraded from 'Soave Classico Superiore DOCG' to simple 'Soave' because the local rules stipulate it should be bottled using corks.
Brown had moved away from his home next door to the Soave family in Fletcher Grove when he launched the attack.
