layer of the cortex showed themselves sclerified, forming a thick and compact barrier in healthy plants of the species (Figure 2D).
This is, according to him, a subepidermic
presence of the Holocaust.
Under it there are 3-5 layers of abaxial, subepidermic
fibers, even more developed than those located adaxially.
There were intercellular hyphae in the subepidermic
tissue, parallel to the root surface, which formed intracellular branches that gave rise to arbuscules (Arum-type).
