A recent Associated Press article, "State of Oregon Uses E-Bay for Garage Sale," by Peter Prengaman talks about the success the state of Oregon has experienced in selling its confiscated and surplus property on E-Bay.
Over half of firms (52%) in this survey report they have surplus property, a slight increase on last time.
