Palpation displays decreased tactile fremitus and also decreased chest wall expansion.
Physical examination was significant for tactile fremitus and crackles over the right mid- and lower-lung fields.
Physical findings may include the following: tachycardia, tachypnea, and diminished breath sounds, hyperresonance to percussion, and decreased tactile fremitus on the ipsilateral side.
