A range of hills of west-central England rising to 425.5 m (1,395 ft). The scenic hills are a popular resort area.

We were amazed by the beauty of Herefordshire, with fir-covered hillsides merging into the Malverns and the Black Mountains, and the savoured delights of slowly exploring a county which has thus far managed to avoid a motorway.
The Malverns by Moonlight event is being organised to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and will take place on Saturday October 3.
Points of interest include a decades-old ant hill colony, barn owl hunting and nesting area, pollen and nectar habitat and a picnic area with panoramic views of Stratford, the Vale of Evesham, the Malverns and beyond.
