Of, using, or being a technique that photographs a naturally slow process, such as plant growth, on movie film at intervals, so that continuous projection of the frames gives an accelerated view of the process.

Byline: ANI Washington, November 17 (ANI): A new high-resolution time-lapse movie has revealed hidden details in the birth of super-suns in the Orion constellation.
These data are currently being analysed, in a collaborative effort between Shell and CGGVeritas, to extract a time-lapse reservoir signal.
The infrared sensor allows rapid triggering, plus there's a time-lapse mode, programmable photo timer, and multi-shot photo capability of up to three shots per series with 15 seconds between each.
