The Australian referees and touch judges are all full-time, their day consists of watching videos of the weekend games and analysing decisions and trying to better their performances.
But Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward was less reticent, saying: "To me the touch judges are there to put the flag up when the ball goes out.
The referee is allowed to seek advice from the two touch judges but there is a lot of advice coming in at the moment,' said Woodward.
