The label change affects drugs including Zolpidem, marketed as Ambien/Ambien CR by Sanofi-Aventis; butabarbital, marketed as Butisol Sodium by Medpointe Pharmaceuticals HLC; flurazepam, marketed as Dalmane by Valeant Pharmaceuticals; quazepam, marketed as Doral by Questcor Pharmaceuticals; triazolam, marketed as Halcion by Pharmacia & Up-john Inc.
25-milligram-strength triazolam pill, better known as Halcyon and commonly used as a prescription sleeping aid.
Rebound issues may be greater with the short-half-life benzodiazepines, such as triazolam, then the intermediate and longer half-life compounds.
