The distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels of a vehicle.
(Automotive Engineering) the distance between the front and back axles of a motor vehicle
the distance from the center of the front-wheel spindle of a vehicle to the center of the rear-wheel axle.
The distance between the centers of two consecutive wheels. In the case of vehicles with more than two axles or equivalent systems, the successive wheelbases are all given in the order front to rear of the vehicle.
