4" wide screen LCD is nice while the system is plugged in, but when running on batteries it dims the screen to the point where it can be hard to operate.
Apparently, although they invented the technology and build the equipment, the Japanese don't go in for wide screen TVs.
Titled "The Big Picture: Films on the Wide Screen," the series will be guest curated by Variety film critic Todd McCarthy, who wrote and co-directed the documentary "Visions of Light: The Art of Cinematography.
