37) Effect on Existing Liens The sheriffs of the counties of Florida will not accept for docketing any new writs of execution after October 1, 2001.
It has long been the law in Florida that money judgments become liens on personal property in a county when writs of execution are docketed on the sheriff's levy docket.
District Court can enter judgment on the award which will allow the Mantle estate to obtain writs of execution and other court process to seize assets of Upper Deck necessary to pay the judgment.
