The researchers analysed which genes are turned on in dendritic cells by zymosan in cell culture.
Cyanidin 3-O-beta-D-glucoside suppresses nitric oxide production during a zymosan treatment in rats.
Briefly, hemocytes were first treated with different concentrations of triclosan (0 [micro]M, 2 [micro]M, 5 [micro]M, or 10 [micro]M triclosan n = 4 per triclosan concentration) at 4[degrees]C for 4 h, then the zymosan stimulated ROI production in hemocytes was quantified by luminometry.
