Ös·ke·men

 (o͝os′kə-mĕn′, œs′-) or Ust-Ka·me·no·gorsk (o͞ost′kə-mĕn′ə-gôrsk′, -myĭ-nə-)
A city of northeast Kazakhstan on the Irtysh River south of Novosibirsk, Russia. Founded as a military outpost in 1720, it is now a metallurgical center.
