Every meter added to a breakwater, and every caisson which arrives in the harbour, is a step closer to Aberdeen Harbour becoming the largest berthage
port in Scotland.
The shipyard has two ULCC size graving docks (410m x 95m and 410m x 80m), five quays, with a total of 2,800m of alongside berthage
with water depths of between 9 and 10 m, and 14 jib cranes with lifting capacities of between 40 and 100 ton.
Visiting interstate yachts are also offered free berthage
at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club from early January.

The plan involves creating a deep-draft facility, 1,268 meters of mainline berthage
and 550 meters of side-feeder berth that would allow Callao to take up to four post-Panamax ships.
There is ample berthage
for all the vessels within Salthouse Dock.
Dredging has been done in the marina area, particularly on the arms that are used for race week berthage
which should overcome the hassle of berthing at low tide.
