Canteloube's "Songs of the Auvergne" and modern pop music (including turntable effects).

Canteloube and Paul Lincke.
Canteloube's Songs of the Auvergne offer a totally different example of re-invented folk music not, as Bartok does, to fuel something greater but as a form of homage.

Canteloube and their own arrangement of Saint-Saens' The Swan, they immediately made an Italianate diversion with Glinka's Trio Pathetique for clarinet, bassoon and piano.
