A form of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q) that contains 10 isoprene units and is the most common form in humans, used as a dietary supplement for its purported antioxidant properties.

Over-the-counter coenzyme-Q10 (Co Q-10) supplements may lower blood pressure enough to allow some patients with hypertension to reduce their prescription medications, concluded a review of clinical trials published in the July issue of the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine.
