Obtaining a direct image
of a planet quadrillions of miles away is no simple task.
If you needed to see to believe, then thank the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), which has just produced the first ever direct image
of a black hole.
This process doesn't involve ribbon in printing, rather creates direct image
on printed material.
The presses allowed the company to offer large format color printing and direct image
The Event Horizon Telescope will soon be launched to take a direct image
of the black sphere in the center of the black hole.
In every case thus far, and for the foreseeable future, any direct image
of an exoplanet will be a spatially unresolved dot--just as images of stars are unresolved --because the planet's tiny disk is orders of magnitude smaller than the diffraction (resolution) limit of even the largest telescopes.
We have made the first direct image
of gravitational waves, or ripples in space-time across the primordial sky, and verified a theory about the creation of the whole universe," Chao-Lin Kuo, an assistant professor of physics at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and a co-leader of the BICEP2 collaboration said.
Combine the imaging capability found in direct image
technology with the printing of circuits found in printed electronics technology and the laminate and polymer expertise within the molding world and you may just have all the ingredients of a real game-changer!
"I was looking for my next challenge, so when the opportunity to direct Image
Nation's next project arose I jumped at the chance.
With the 46-megapixel, full-colour Foveon X3 Direct Image
Sensor, the new DP cameras capture all primary RGB colours at each pixel location with three layers, which results in detailed images with a three-dimensional feel.
AstronoMers have captured the first direct image
of a planet being born.
The direct image
generation methods are extremely fast and allow for an efficient extraction of the dominant scattering centers of an object, which can be used for compressed scattering center representations of the scattering behaviour of complex objects in the far-field as well as in the near-field .
