The characteristics of vegetation coverage in the hydrographic sub-basins of Sao Carlos were evaluated by the Genebrino or Distantial method adapted for this case study by setting thresholds for the average between the best and worst situations encountered among the sub-basins in the municipality of Sao Carlos.
