John comes to the FIOS Insight team at an exciting time for the architectural tool market as digital transformation is changing the way the most companies do business.
"For those with little or no credit history, Fios Prepaid offers 100% fiber-optic quality Internet; featuring upload speeds as fast as download speeds, and crystal-clear TV service with no annual contract, deposit or credit check required-it doesn't get any easier to join the Fios family," Susan Retta, vice president of consumer marketing, Verizon said in the official press release announcing the plan Monday.
Verizon has updated its Fios mobile app so that customers with both Fios Quantum TV and Fios Internet service can stream nearly all of their DVR-recorded shows from anywhere they have an Internet connection, the company said.
As part of the agreement, FiOS TV subscribers will receive a robust offering of on-demand programming, as well as live streaming of all major Turner networks that can be viewed in and out of the home across multiple devices, enabled by expansive TV Everywhere rights that provide subscribers more opportunities and easier access to authenticated content.
"Verizon is excited to provide our FiOS customers with NBCUniversal's unprecedented coverage of the 2012 London Olympics on multiple platforms," said Terry Denson, vice president of global content strategy for Verizon.
"The new FiOS Internet speed and bundle options provide incredible value, and represent the most significant mass scale, consumer broadband speed enhancement in the nation in the past decade." The new FiOS Internet tiers containing the highest speeds are named FiOS Quantum and feature upload/download speeds of 50/25, 75/35, 150/65 and 300/65 megabits per second (Mbps).
New customers who sign up online for FiOS TV service can take advantage of a special offer that includes triple-play service with FiOS TV, FiOS 35/35 Mbps Internet service and Verizon voice service, starting at $89.99 a month.
"International programming on FiOS TV offers a world of diverse channels in a growing variety of languages," said Terry Denson, vice-president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon.
Customer reaction to Verizon's FiOS services has been very positive, with broadband and TV subscribers rapidly increasing in markets in Virginia and across the country.
