 (hăm), Mariel Margaret Known as "Mia." Born 1972.
American soccer player who held a world record for scoring more goals in international competition than any other player, male or female, from 2004 until 2013. She also led the US women's soccer team to gold medals in the 1996 and 2004 Olympics.
