Hermon Mount


 (hûr′mən), Mount
The highest peak, 2,814 m (9,230 ft), of the Anti-Lebanon Range on the Syria-Lebanon border. It was sacred to the worshipers of Baal and is considered the traditional site of Jesus's transfiguration.
