Low back pain (LBP), as one of the most common diseases, is being experienced by about 70% of people at some point in their life.1 It affects the quality of life in patients, and imposes a high economic burden on social health care system.2 Moreover, LBP is associated with psychological disturbance including depression and anxiety, which influence the outcomes of treatment adversely.3 Also, the improvement of the anxiety and depression status can help individuals control and manage pain in LBP.4 Lumbar disc herniation (LDH), which accounts for 50% of LBP patients, is the most common lumbar spinal disorder.5 Subsequently, psychological analysis should be paid high attention to in the treatment of LDH.
Initially, it was found that there was uniformly high levels of LDH in malignant effusions and low levels of LDH in non-malignant effusions.
Increased enzymes levels in CSF LDH, and CPK have been reported to indicate tissue damage of the CNS or altered permeability of barriers.
After the first examination of patients with lymphoma diagnosis, it is recommended to perform important laboratory tests such as complete blood count; albumin, kidney and liver function tests; uric acid, [sz]2-microglobulin; C-reactive protein (CRP); erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR); and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) examinations.
Layered double hydroxides (LDH), known as anionic clays or hydrotalcite-like compounds, consist of positively charged sheets and small, exchangeable interlayer anions.
Patients were excluded if they were unwilling to participate in the study, if their diagnosis of SAH was confirmed in a CT scan but they didn't have the indications for surgical operation, their clinical manifestations of SAH were persistent for longer than 2 weeks, and their elevated CSF LDH level had another cause, such as infectious diseases (meningoencephalitis), malignancies, inflammatory diseases (multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus cerebritis), or cerebrovascular thrombosis.
LDH was instituted in 1898 as the first women hospital in Karachi to provide obstetric and gynaecological care services.
We collected information about age, sex, primary tumor site, NLR, serum albumin levels, serum LDH levels, ascites parameters (glucose, albumin, LDH, coenocyte, monocyte, and coenocyte-to-monocyte ratio), the serum-ascites albumin gradient, and ascites-serum LDH ratios.
In this study, considering the time consuming and weak antipollution properties owing to the complex process preparation of LDH conversion coatings for former process, a new method, C[O.sub.2] pressurization method, for preparing LDH conversion coatings was proposed.
The results showed that 1) the expression levels of Ldh-c mRNA and protein were 0.804+-0.059 and 0.979+-0.176, respectively; 2) 30 min after administration of 1 mL of 1 mol/L N-isopropyl oxamate injected in biceps femoris muscle, the concentration of N-isopropyl oxamate in blood was 0.08 mmol/L; 3) in skeletal muscles of the inhibitor group and the control group, the LDH activities were 6.30+-0.50 U/mg and 10.01+-0.59 U/mg, the contents of LD were 0.28+-0.039 mmol/g and 0.84+-0.16 mmol/g, and the ATP level were 8.15+-1.03 nmol/mg and 12.06+-1.23 nmol/mg (P<0.01); 5) the inhibition rates of N-isopropyl oxamate to LDH, LD and ATP were 37.12%, 66.27%, and 32.42%, respectively.
The UTI group had significantly higher total LDH activity (66.0 [+ or -] 8.0 IU/L, P < 0.01) than the KD (35.4 [+ or -] 4.8 IU/L) and VI groups (17.0 [+ or -] 6.2 IU/L), and the KD group had significantly higher total LDH activity (P < 0.05) than the VI group.
