DALLAS--Texas Instruments continues to broaden its lineup of laser printers for small offices and medium-size businesses, launching two laser printers at Comdex.
Dot matrix printers are less expensive than laser printers, but are noisier and slower.
For P565 per bottle, the Epson M-Series has an ultra-high yield of 6,000 pages--12x cheaper than laser printers. It has a print speed of up to 34ppm (15ipm), similar to laser print-outs (the pigment-based ink of the Epson M-Series produces water-resistant and fade-resistant prints), and is energy efficient (lower energy consumption than conventional laser printers).
The company introduced eight new models of laser printers and multi-function products (MFPs), which incorporate design and connectivity capabilities to improve workflow efficiencies.
