 (lŭk′səm-bûrg′, lo͝ok′səm-bo͝ork′), Rosa 1870?-1919.
Polish-born German socialist leader who cofounded (1918) the Spartacus Party, later the German Communist Party. She was arrested and murdered after the Spartacist uprising in 1919. Luxemburg's writings include Accumulation of Capital (1913).
