Mac·Bride

 (mĭk-brīd′), Sean 1904-1988.
Irish politician who supported independence from Great Britain, served as Ireland's foreign minister (1948-1951), and played a prominent role in many human rights organizations. He shared the 1974 Nobel Peace Prize.
