The compound with a [[M+H].sup.+] ion at m/z 263 with a major fragment at m/z 124 was identified as maclurin. Moreover, a number of iriflophenone galloyl glucosides or maclurin glucoside derivatives were identified at m/z 409, 545, 713, and 865 (entry 23-26, Table 3) in the positive-ion mode and 423, 543, 575, and 727 (entry 8-12, Table 4) in the negative-ion mode.
