moving coil

adj
(Electronics) denoting an electromechanical device in which a suspended coil is free to move in a magnetic field. A current passing through the coil causes it to move, as in loudspeakers and electrical measuring instruments, or movement of the coil gives rise to induced currents, as in microphones and some record-player pick-ups

This motion is based on SMAC's moving coil linear design and already meets the required parameters.
The equation of motion for the moving coil relative to the magnetic flux for given external displacement u may be written as;
The drive is inertial, as with many of the moving coil exciters used in the company's panels, yet many times more efficient.
electromagnetic, typically called voice coil, where fixed magnets interact with a moving coil (electromagnet) to create motion.
Our patented rhombic wound moving coil motors offer several advantages over conventional DC motors:
While some expensive moving coil cartridges had combined wonderful sound with trackability and high output, the Blue Point was one of the first to do so at a very reasonable price.
The gantry has 1 x 1 inch stroke and supports moving coil option that reduces moving mass and increases acceleration.
Stops in both magnetic spring designs to limit the position of the moving coil when it is not energized.
The patented rhombic moving coil design is said to provide for long life, low electrical noise, fast acceleration and high efficiency.
Operating temperature range is -15[degrees] to 65[degrees]C Gearheads are available mounted to the maker's moving coil motors, which are also available with encoders.
