Nag´yag`ite


n.1.(Min.) A mineral of blackish lead-gray color and metallic luster, generally of a foliated massive structure; foliated tellurium. It is a telluride of lead and gold.

Nagyagite from the Emperor mine has been known since the 1944 edition of Dana's System of Mineralogy, but has not been reported since then.
