A river of Venezuela flowing more than 2,415 km (1,500 mi), partly along the Colombia-Venezuela border, to the Atlantic Ocean. The mouth of the river was probably sighted by Columbus in 1498.

(Placename) a river in N South America, rising in S Venezuela and flowing west, then north as part of the border between Colombia and Venezuela, then east to the Atlantic by a great delta: the third largest river system in South America, draining an area of 945 000 sq km (365 000 sq miles); reaches a width of 22 km (14 miles) during the rainy season. Length: about 2575 km (1600 miles)

Las sabanas tropicales de la Orinoquia Colombiana se han convertido en uno de los principales centros de desarrollo forestal en el pais.
La Orinoquia es una region geografica, que forma parte de dos paises, Venezuela y Colombia donde, se encontro una prevalencia por Reaccion en Cadena de Polimerasa (PCR) de 7,14% para Trypanosoma spp.
