Nowadays, computed tomography(CT) is frequently used in the evaluation of patients with paranasal sinusitis. CT provides excellent anatomical soft tissue and bony details, objective evidence for the diagnosis and staging, and an important "roadmap" to paranasal sinus anatomy.
