Former pupils
Pru Porretta MBE, Coventry's official Lady Godiva, and Angela Whelan OBE, were two of the very first people to attend school when it opened in 1967.
It was the brainchild of
Pru Porretta, our own Lady Godiva and the panels show many aspects of life in Coventry from the first Millenium to its rebirth after WW2.
Coventry's present-day Lady Godiva,
Pru Porretta, welcomed 18 Godiva Sisters from all across the world - including places such as Japan, Poland and Serbia - to the iconic statue bearing the same name in Broadgate.
As the clock strikes 11am, Coventry's presentday Lady Godiva,
Pru Porretta, will welcome the 18 sisters, along with schoolchildren from across the city, next to the Godiva statue in Broadgate.
Guests included Lady Godiva
Pru Porretta and the Lord Mayor of Coventry Hazel Noonan, and even a hen party was held there.

Pru Porretta is leading the call for Coventry to help one of its twin cities - the Serbian capital of Belgrade.
There was no shortage of support for Rhiane with Lord Mayor Gary Crookes and Lady Mayoress Shirley Crookes joining
Pru Porretta, Sky Blues youngsters Jordan Clarke and Cyrus Christie, and a hatful of other performers.

Pru Porretta.

Pru Porretta, who organised the event, said: "This event is about saying that we are all Lady Godiva's children, and we may be different, but we can work together in peace.
