The N- isopropyl-p-iodoamphetamine-rest and true acetazolamide images estimated method using dynamic acquisition (IMP-RAMDA) method is a noninvasive method with [sup]123 I-labeled IMP which has the advantage of an excellent linearity of rCBF.[sup][2] It measures rCBF at rest and after an acetazolamide (ACZ) challenge, thereby enabling rCVR to be evaluated without any blood sampling.
Pre- and post-operative rCBF and preoperative rCVR were evaluated in all patients using the IMP-RAMDA method.
SPECT images (resting rCBF and rCVR) are shown in [Figure 1]b.
The DTARG method quantitatively measures resting rCBF and rCVR within 1 h using arterial blood sampling.
These LYCRA(r) SPORT fabric performance properties, combined with its shape retention over time, are necessary for the ACTV and RCVR lines, as they allow the silicone tape to stay in place over the active muscles so that the user can reap the full benefits of the garment.
It is now widely recognized that the current lipid-lowering therapies, in particular those directed to reduce LDL-c levels, such as statins, are insufficient to prevent part of the cardiovascular events; indeed, residual cardiovascular risk (RCVR) remains elevated even in clinical trials in which LDL-c levels have been aggressively reduced [11-13, 42-44].
Thus, in statin-medicated patients, with average LDL-c levels, HDL-c and TGs have been gaining particular relevance, as good measures of RCVR and target for prevention of cardiovascular events.
The RCVR took on many civilian responsibilities but did not perform as well as expected.
