Row binder

An implement to travel along a crop row, cut, and then tie the stalks into bundles. More often called a Corn binder, it traveled down a single row, cut off the stalks and kept them upright until after they were tied into a bundle. The bundles were either shocked and left in the field, or stored in a barn.
