Taí·na·ron(tā′nə-rôn′, tĕ′nä-), CapeFormerly Cape Mat·a·pan (măt′ə-păn′)
A cape at the southernmost point of mainland Greece. The British won an important naval battle against the Italians off Cape Taínaron in 1941.
