This kind of "thinspo" fad is being blamed for the rise of anorexia and bulimia among weight conscious people, particularly young girls.

"-like blogs and will now take down sites "crossing the line" of promoting any type of self-harm, eating disorders or suicide.
One site even uses pictures of celebs like Victoria Beckham, with one text calling her "my favourite icon for thinspo
