Even so, it is disturbing to read that `the army's classified records relating to Korea were all destroyed in 1967' in what McGibbon calls `a very clear breach of the Archives Act 1957.' Responsibility for that vandalism (or was it censorship?) is doubtless impossible to sheet home to any individual now, but one would like to know that subsequent records of obvious permanent value are being preserved.
