The Maison & Atelier Horta were designed by Victor Horta in 1898 to be both a family home and an architecture studio.
Among their leading designers were Leon Ledru (1855-1926) who worked alongside some of the most influential figures in Belgium Art Nouveau, notably Victor Horta (1861-1947) and Henry van de Velde (1863-1957) who was the chief designer from 1886 to 1926.

Sadly not original Victor Horta but a mash-up of parts of his 1899 Art Nouveau 'La Maison du Peuple' from Brussels, demolished in 1965.
The building would be a destination in itself, as the surviving masterpiece of Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta.
