17 November 2010 - US medical technology company Becton, Dickinson and Co (NYSE: BDX), or BD, said yesterday that Kathy Warye has joined the company as vice president infection prevention, a newly created position.
Kathy Warye will be responsible for leading the company's efforts to advance best practices and improve patient outcomes, working closely with key opinion leaders globally to define and promote effective methods for reducing infections in the healthcare setting, serving as the primary liaison to stakeholders in the area of infection prevention and helping BD build collaborative relationships with organisations committed to preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
