A serial bus standard used for transferring data to and from digital devices. USB devices such as mice and flash drives are often powered by their USB connection.
Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (NasdaqGS: SIMO), a global provider of NAND Flash controllers and solid-state storage devices, has launched an external Solid State Drive (SSD) controller solution with an on-chip USB 3.2 interface, offering high performance and low power consumption for the next generation of cost-effective portable and external SSDs, the company said.
Most recently, USB 3.2 preserved 3.1's SuperSpeed (5 Gbit/s) and SuperSpeed+ (10 Gbit/s maximum) transfer modes, while introducing two new SuperSpeed+ transfer modes over the USB-C connector with data rates of 10 and 20 Gbit/s (1250 and 2500 MB/s).
Not only does this Huijin Parts USB hub offer three USB ports with USB 3.2 technology, it also includes a type C charging adapter for mobile phones, tablets, and other similar USB devices.
