The Spearman
coefficient of correlation was used for the correlation analyses of the scales.
Pearson
coefficient of correlation between prey and predator population were determined in southern part of Punjab province.
This method also enables the parameter probability density function to be estimated as well as the dispersion to be evaluated, within which the LPU estimates the uncertainty values (uncertainty of parameter uncertainty) and correlation values (uncertainty of
coefficient of correlation between the parameters).
However, only one
coefficient of correlation showed a p value of less than 0.05, for the measures of sideward leap and bass stepping stone, both of which were in fact measures of dynamic balance, thus showing no significant correlation between measures of static and dynamic balance.12
The corresponding
coefficient of correlation ([R.sup.2]) between [W.sub.P] and [W.sub.W] was 0.75.
Values near zero indicate optimal adjustment, while positive and negative values indicate underestimation and overestimation of predicted values, respectively (BONFANTE et al., 2010);
Coefficient of correlation (r)--varies between -1 and +1, with values close to zero indicating the absence of correlation (ADDISCOTT & WHITMORE, 1987); Willmott's index of agreement (d)--indicates model accuracy and degree of discrepancy between actual and predicted values, with values between zero and +1, where d=+1 indicates perfect agreement, and d=0 indicates total disagreement (WILLMOTT et al., 2012); Coefficient "c"--indicates the model confidence and is expressed by c=d*r, varying between <0.40 ("low") and >0.85 ("optimum") (CAMARGO & SENTELHAS, 1997).
The strength of association between 2 variables was calculated using the Pearson's (r) (Normal distribution) or Spearman's (rs) (non-uniform distribution)
coefficient of correlation. The coefficient of determination expresses the percentage of the PAPm's variation, explained by each variable separately and express their strength of prediction (prediction's potential). We calculate the coefficients of determination R2 for the linear regression and non-linear regression models.
r =
coefficient of correlation; [summation]xy = sum of the product of x and y variables; [summation]x = sum of the x variable; [summation]y = sum of y variable; [summation][x.sup.2] = sum of the squared value of x; [summation][y.sup.2] = sum of the squared value of y; [([summation]x).sup.2] = square of sum of x variable; n = number of records/ observations.
The most influence to the employee performance at the
coefficient of correlation (beta) of 0.659.
The amount of PO4 - extracted by this method has no - significant correlation with the soil characteristics except pH and Fe which has significant
coefficient of correlation of 0.61* and -0.59* respectively.
Results: Pearson product-moment
coefficient of correlation was computed to find out the relationship among variables.
In order to find out whether there is a significant association or not between two variables,
coefficient of correlation was calculated.
