 (ăk-tĭn′ō-mī-kō′sĭs, ăk′tə-nō-)
An inflammatory disease of cattle, hogs, humans, and other mammals, caused by actinomyces and characterized by lumpy tumors of the mouth, neck, chest, and abdomen. Also called lumpy jaw.
