This is a case report of 25 years old young male who presented initially with pain epigastrium and vomiting with diagnosis of acute gastritis. Later on pain localized to lower abdomen more on left side than right lower side.
Dr Zaib Yusuf Shaikh, medical director and internal medicine specialist at Mobile Doctors 24-7, UAE's first medical call centre, told Gulf News: "During Eid, hospitals report emergency cases dealing with acute gastritis, diarrhoea, vomiting which are related to overeating."
There is a clear relationship between serum titer of IgM antibodies and clinical results as increased levels of immunoglobulin is observed in acute gastritis. In this study, this test was used as the rapid screening tests for helicobacter pylori infection.
