Segundo Tortato (2008), foram registradas 25 especies de mamiferos nativos, incluidas em 16 familias: Didelphis albiventris, Dasypus novemcinctus, Cabassous tatouay, Tamandua tetradactyla, Alouata guariba, Sapajus nigritus, Cerdocyon thous, Leopardus pardalis, Leopardus tigrinus, Leopardus wiedii, Eira barbara, Nasua nasua, Procyon cancrivorus, Pecari tajacu, Mazama guazoubira, Mazama nana, Akodon sp., Oligoryzomys nigripes, Oryzomys russatus, Thaptomys nigrita, Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris, Sphiggurus villosus, Cuniculus paca, Dasyprocta azarae, Myocastor coypus.
En los mamiferos se destaca la presencia de dos especies vulnerable (VU) a la extincion, correspondiente al oso hormiguero (Myrmecophaga tridactyla) y a la nutria (Lontra longicaudis), y dos casi amenazadas (NT): tigrillo (leopardus pardalis) y coletrapo (Cabassous centralis), ademas de otra especie que aunque no esta amenazada, si esta relacionada en el Apendice II del CITES (oncita: Puma yagouarundi).
