On Mollusca, malformations on the class Polyplacophora have been described extensively (Dell'Angelo & Schwabe, 2010), while other classes have not been described in so much detail (e.g., Pelseneer, 1923; Mitov et al., 2003; Brewer & Seitz, 2013).
