Meusburger has launched a range of O-ring
counterbores that it says are especially designed for use in mould and tool making.
A new "smart" tool in SpaceClaim recognizes standard-sized holes in imported geometry, as well as recognizes chamfers,
counterbores, and countersinks.
The cylinder has recessed
counterbores for the case rims and split grip panels.
The e-marketplace, according to WIM, includes offerings for carbide cutting tools, glass, concrete, die, wood cutting, plastic, plasma, diamond and metal cutting tools such as saws, carbide cut-off tools, drills, abrasives,
counterbores, broaches and allied products.
Leave about 1/4" of 7/16" hole between the two
counterbores. Bevel all sharp edges so the recoil assembly doesn't get scratched during operation.
Additionally, the strips still maintain exceptionally smooth
counterbores as well as the sharpest and most exact tolerances.
On a block requiring holes and
counterbores with special radial callouts, the team suggested replacing the milling tool used by Olsen with a Sandvik Coromant CoroMill 390.
